Frequently Asked Questions

Question:

Are there any restrictions on the use of the 10-ride ticket books?

Answer:

Generally there are no restrictions on the use of these books. 10-ride ticket books are transferable among passengers, and multiple coupons from the same ticket book may be used for travel for different passengers on the same trip. 10-ride ticket books are also valid forever on the Nantucket route, although they are valid on the Martha's Vineyard route for only one year from the date the ticket book is sold. (A senior citizen 10-ride ticket book sold to an individual who is eligible for a senior citizen fare is not transferable and is valid only for transportation of the passenger for whom the ticket book is originally purchased.)
